Senator Frank Pratt was elected to the Arizona State Senate in November 2016 to represent Legislative District 8. Senator Pratt previously served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2009 through 2016, first for Legislative District 23 and then for Legislative District 8. He currently serves as the Vice-Chair for the Natural Resources, Energy and Water Committee and as a member of both the Judiciary Committee and Transportation and Technology Committee.

Senator Pratt has lived in rural Arizona his entire life. His grandparents arrived in the area in the 1880s. Due to his deep family roots in the area, Senator Pratt understands what is important to his constituents. In addition to serving the public in the Arizona Legislature, Frank owns and operates a small family business. He has always believed in a "roll-up-your-sleeves" and "get-your-hands-dirty" approach to his work. Senator Pratt, his wife Janice and their son work hard every day, running their family business and trying to make ends meet. He cares about the people he represents, because they are a lot like him.

Senator Pratt has been recognized by many organizations for his excellent record in the Legislature. In 2010, the Arizona Chamber of Commerce declared him "Legislator of the Year." He has been declared a "Hero of the Taxpayer" and has received praise from many organizations interested in public policy like the National Rifle Association, the Fraternal Order of Police and many other groups of community leaders. Senator Pratt has a reputation as being a man with integrity and provides strong leadership in all his endeavors. Senator Pratt looks forward to representing his constituents and fellow Arizonans.
