Senator Robert Meza was elected to his first term in the Arizona State Senate in 2010. Prior to his election as a State Senator, Robert served four terms in the Arizona House of Representatives serving Legislative District 14. Currently, Robert sits on three standing committees: Commerce and Workforce Development, Government, and Natural Resources.

Robert earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and continues to be a strong proponent of affordable education throughout Arizona. Robert also focuses his legislative efforts on social issues such as affordable health care, immigration, and equality of opportunity regardless of race, sex and economic class.
