Ken also served in the 46th Session of the House of Representatives (2004-2005).

Ken has been a valued and respected part of Arizona politics for over 18 years. He was the campaign manager on the "NO on 200" state-wide ballot effort to defeat the "payday loan reform" and co-chair of the non-partisan "Arizona Competitive Districts Coalition", which sought to build a greater number of competitive districts during the 2011-12 legislative and congressional redistricting process. Ken is also a Valley Leadership Alumni (Class 33) and a 2013 Flinn Brown Center for Leadership cohort.

From 1995 to 1998, Ken was the Bosnian Country Director for Search for Common Ground, the international mediation and citizen diplomacy organization. He trained over 100 journalists, producers and radio hosts and oversaw over 300 hours of program broadcasts. He reported on his work to organizations such as the National Security Council and the European Union and published in trade journals and periodicals.

After the 2016 elections, Ken, along with other community advocates, organized the successful "We the People Summits," a series of workshops providing people with the information, network opportunities and workshops needed to become effective citizen advocates. In 2010, he launched "Phoestivus," a fundraising event for the Downtown Phoenix Farmer's Market and one of the most popular holiday food and crafts fairs in the valley. In 2009, Ken created "Get Your Phoenix," a monthly event that promotes Phoenix small businesses.

Ken is also a real estate agent who specializes in historic homes and is a strong advocate of historic preservation. He grew up in a U.S. Airforce Military family that was stationed throughout Europe and the U.S. The Clark's moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona in 1982, he left Arizona in 1985 to attend a NATO high school in Holland, and returned in 1989 to begin college.
