ARIZONA STATE SENATE

appropriation; Pomerene Road bridge project
Purpose
Appropriates $4,750,000 from the state General Fund (state GF) in FY 2021 to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to rehabilitate the Pomerene Road Bridge.
Background
ADOT is responsible for the design and construction of state public transportation systems and the maintenance and operation of state highways in Arizona (A.R.S. § 28-332).
Pomerene Road Bridge is located in the City of Benson along U.S. Interstate 10.
S.B. 1109 appropriates $4,750,000 from the state GF in FY 2021.
Provisions
1. Appropriates $4,750,000 from the state GF in FY 2021 to ADOT for the purpose of rehabilitating the Pomerene Road Bridge.
2. Becomes effective on the general effective date.
