A. A person who desires to take the national board examination shall submit to the department:
1. An examination application on a form prescribed by the department.
2. Documentation of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
3. Documentation of the person's graduation from an accredited or provisionally accredited school of mortuary science.
4. All applicable fees pursuant to section 32-1309.
B. A person who takes the national board examination must achieve a passing score according to the standards of the international conference of funeral service examining boards.
C. The department shall accept a passing score that an applicant achieved on the national board examination taken within the five years immediately preceding the date that the applicant filed a license application with the department.
