AN ACT

 

Distributing county transportation excise tax revenues.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Distribution; county transportation excise tax revenues; fiscal year 2026-2027

A. Net revenues collected pursuant to section 42-6106, Arizona Revised Statutes, including interest earned on those revenues, that are not distributed pursuant to section 42-6106, subsection D, Arizona Revised Statutes, and that are not refunded pursuant to section 42-1118, Arizona Revised Statues, shall be distributed in fiscal year 2026-2027 for the following projects:

1. To the town of Superior for improvements

to Lobb Avenue, Neary Avenue and

Kellner Avenue                                  $ 1,528,500

2. To Pinal county for paving and improvements

on McNab Parkway between Erikson Avenue

and Veterans Memorial Boulevard                 $ 2,439,200

3. To Pinal county for paving

and improvements on Calle Futura and

Neal Street                                     $ 1,081,200

4. To the town of Florence for widening

and improvements on Hunt Highway

between Franklin Road and the town

limits boundary                                 $ 6,256,200

5. To the town of Queen Creek for road

widening and improvements on

Ironwood Road between Era Mae Boulevard

and Ocotillo Road                               $ 2,179,000

6. To the city of Maricopa for design

and construction of a traffic interchange

at Papago Road and State Route 347              $ 2,500,000

7. To the city of Casa Grande for

improvements to Colorado Street between

Oneil Drive and Cottonwood Lane                 $ 10,000,000

8. To Pinal county for distribution

to Saddlebrooke for transportation projects     $ 4,000,000

9. To the city of Coolidge for general

transportation projects                         $ 4,000,000

10. To the Gila River Indian Community for

general transportation projects                $ 4,000,000

11. To the Ak-Chin Indian Community for

general transportation projects                $ 4,000,000

12. To the city of Eloy for general

transportation projects                        $ 4,000,000

B. If the net revenues collected pursuant to section 42-6106, Arizona Revised Statutes, that are not distributed pursuant to section 42-6101, subsection D, Arizona Revised Statutes, or refunded pursuant to section 42-1118, Arizona Revised Statutes, exceed $45,984,000, each amount distributed in subsection A of this section shall be proportionally increased.

C. If the net revenues collected pursuant to section 42-6106, Arizona Revised Statutes, that are not distributed pursuant to section 42-6106, subsection D, Arizona Revised Statutes, or refunded pursuant to section 42-1118, Arizona Revised Statutes, are less than $45,984,000, each amount distributed in subsection A of this section shall be proportionally decreased.
