Purpose

States that the Legislature proclaims June 2026 as Celebrate Life Month in Arizona.

Background

In 2025, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz introduced Senate Joint Resolution 59 which designates June as Life Month (U.S. Congress).

There is no anticipated fiscal impact to the state General Fund associated with this legislation.

Provisions

· States that the members of the Legislature proclaim June 2026 as Celebrate Life Month in Arizona and encourage citizens and lawmakers to recognize the inherent, immeasurable worth of every human life from conception to natural death.
