Overview

Urges the President of the United States and Congress to withdraw from the United Nations to better serve U.S. interests.

History

The United Nations (U.N.) is an international organization founded on October 24, 1945. Original U.N. membership was composed of 51 states. Currently, there are 193 member states that carry out the organization's purpose and principles (U.N. About Us Page). 

Provisions

1.   Urges the President of the U.S. and Congress to withdraw from the U.N. to better serve the U.S. interests.

2.   Directs the Arizona Secretary of State to transmit copies of the Memorial to the President of the U.S., the President of the U.S. Senate, the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and each member of Congress from Arizona.
