Overview

Cites a 2014 session law relating to trampoline court regulations as Ty's Law.

History

Laws 2014, Chapter 259 establishes trampoline court regulations. Specifically, this session law: 1) tasks the Department of Fire, Building and Life Safety (DFBLS) with administering and enforcing prescribed trampoline court regulations; 2) implements registration requirements for the owner or operator of a trampoline court; 3) creates inspection, certification and insurance requirements for the owner or operator of a trampoline court; 3) prescribes rules by which trampoline court patrons must abide; 4) specifies enforcement mechanisms of trampoline court regulations for DFBLS; and 5) declares regulation of trampoline courts a statewide concern and is not subject to any further regulation by a state political subdivision. Laws 2016, Chapter 128 amends the statutes created by Laws 2014, Chapter 259 by transferring the administration and enforcement of the statutes relating to trampoline court regulations from DFBLS to the State Forester.

Laws 2014, Chapter 259 and the sections of Laws 2016, Chapter 128 relating to trampoline court regulations are codified as A.R.S. Title 37, Chapter 9, Article 6.

A trampoline court is a commercial facility with a defined area composed of trampolines, a series of trampolines, a trampoline court foam pit or a series of trampoline court foam pits (A.R.S. § 37-1421).
