Overview

Appropriate the sum of $9,500,000 from the state General Fund (GF) in Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 to the State Treasurer to distribute to the City of Apache Junction for housing infrastructure and housing rehabilitation and blight abatement.

History

The Office of the State Treasurer Arizona is responsible for the banking and investment management duties for the state, provides investment services to local governments, and exclusively manages the Permanent Land Endowment.

Provisions

1.   Appropriates the following amounts from the GF in FY 2027 to the State Treasurer to distribute to the City of Apache Junction:

a.   $6,500,000 to fund affordable housing infrastructure; and

b.   $3,000,000 for housing rehabilitation and blight abatement. (Sec. 1)
