Description

The bill would require the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) to provide a question-and-answer period during the competitive sealed bidding process and provide all questions raised and answered during the question-and-answer period in writing to all bidders and interested parties.

 

Estimated Impact

We estimate the cost of the bill to be minimal. ADOA's Arizona Procurement Portal already offers a discussion forum to facilitate a question-and-answer period to active bidders. We estimate the cost to expand access to this forum for interested parties would be minimal.  

 

We have asked ADOA for their estimated cost of implementing the requirements of the bill but have not received a response.
