AN ACT

amending title 16, chapter 6, article 1.3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by ADDING section 16-921.01; relating to CAMPAIGN expenditures.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 16, chapter 6, article 1.3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-921.01, to read:

START_STATUTE16-921.01. Personal security expenditures

A candidate committee may lawfully spend campaign monies for the personal SECURITY of the candidate and the candidate's family members and shall report those expenditures as PRESCRIBED by section 16-926. END_STATUTE
