AN ACT
amending title 3, chapter 11, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 3-1313; RELATING to regulation of livestock.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 3, chapter 11, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 3-1313, to read:
3-1313. Live bird markets; state preemption; registration
A. The regulation of live bird MARKETS is a matter of statewide concern. The regulation of LIVE BIRD MARKETS pursuant to this section is not subject to further regulation by a county, city, town or other political subdivision of this state.
b. each live bird market shall register with the state VETERINARIAN.
