amending title 33, chapter 10, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 33-1380; relating to the Arizona residential landlord and tenant act.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 33, chapter 10, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 33-1380, to read:

START_STATUTE33-1380. Enforcement; consumer fraud; civil rights; attorney general

A. A violation of this chapter Is an unlawful practice prescribed by section 44-1522 and The attorney general may investigate the violation pursuant to title 44, chapter 10, article 7.

B. The attorney general may INVESTIGATE a violation of this chapter for possible action under title 41, chapter 9. END_STATUTE
