An Act
amending title 32, chapter 13, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 32-1460; amending title 32, chapter 16, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 32-1754; amending title 32, chapter 17, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 32-1862; relating to ophthalmic lens prescriptions.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 32, chapter 13, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 32-1460, to read:
32-1460. Ophthalmic lenses; prescriptions
A prescription for ophthalmic lenses, other than contact lenses, is valid for two years unless otherwise specified by the prescribing physician DUE TO THE AGE OF THE PATIENT OR THE MEDICAL OR OCULAR CONDITION OF THE PATIENT.
Sec. 2. Title 32, chapter 16, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 32-1754, to read:
32-1754. Ophthalmic lenses; prescriptions
A prescription for ophthalmic lenses, other than contact lenses, is valid for two years unless otherwise specified by the prescribing optometrist DUE TO THE AGE OF THE PATIENT OR THE MEDICAL OR OCULAR CONDITION OF THE PATIENT.
Sec. 3. Title 32, chapter 17, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 32-1862, to read:
32-1862. Ophthalmic lenses; prescriptions
A prescription for ophthalmic lenses, other than contact lenses, is valid for two years unless otherwise specified by the prescribing physician DUE TO THE AGE OF THE PATIENT OR THE MEDICAL OR OCULAR CONDITION OF THE PATIENT.
