HOUSE BILL 2060

AN ACT

amending title 16, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 16-407.04; relating to the conduct of elections.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 16, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-407.04, to read:

START_STATUTE16-407.04. Sovereign authority; elections; state law; federal offices

Pursuant to the SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY of this state, article I, section 2, constitution of the united states, and article II, section 3, Constitution of Arizona, the qualification to vote in elections that are held in this state for federal offices shall be as prescribed by the election statutes of this state for ELECTIONS that are held in this state for state and local officers, including qualifications regarding citizenship and residency.
