Purpose
Appropriates $8,000,000 from the state General Fund (state GF) in FY 2025 to the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) to distribute to the Navajo Technical University to develop and construct an environmental testing laboratory.
Background
In 1984 the Navajo Technical University received accreditation by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is governed by a Board of Regents made up of a six member board that includes a chairperson, vice chairperson and the student senate president (NTU).
SB 1504 appropriates $8,000,000 from the state GF in FY 2025 to ADOA to distribute to the Navajo Technical University.
Provisions
1. Appropriates $8,000,000 from the state GF in FY 2025 to ADOA to distribute to the Navajo Technical University to develop and construct an environmental testing laboratory.
2. Becomes effective on the general effective date.
