Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriations; department of transportation; Navajo Nation transportation projects; exemption

A. The following amounts are appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the department of transportation to distribute to the Navajo Nation for the following transportation projects:

1. Improvements to N9205 Pueblo Colorado

 wash crossing                                  $ 266,000

2. BIA Route N15 phase I

 reconstruction project                         $ 6,823,400

3. BIA Route N9054 Steamboat Bridge project          $ 3,961,800

B. The appropriations made in subsection A of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
