Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-269.27, to read:

START_STATUTE11-269.27. Food handler certificate; school activities; volunteers; exemption

a county may not require a person who volunteers at a school activity or function where food is being handled or served to obtain a food handler certificate or identification card or participate in a food handler certificate training course pursuant to section 11-269.12. END_STATUTE
