AN ACT
amending title 12, CHAPTEr 1, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 12-137; relating to the superior court.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 12, chapter 1, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 12-137, to read:
12-137. Family court; domestic violence advocacy; training
The presiding judge of the superior court in each county shall require all judges, family law referees, court commissioners and relevant professional personnel of the family court to complete ongoing training at least once every three years. The training shall include the latest best practices and research in domestic violence advocacy that are designed to improve the ability of the family court to recognize and respond to cases involving domestic violence and to encourage the family court to seek out current and valid scientific research on domestic violence advocacy matters.
