FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1. Removes the establishment of the Arizona Expanding Excellence Fund and related requirements for the Arizona Department of Administration to issue grants for:
a) the expansion of achievement district schools to serve students in low-income communities that do not have access to a school assigned an A or B letter grade (high-quality school);
b) collaborations between achievement
district schools and other schools in
low-income communities to improve student academic outcomes;
c) the expansion of high-quality schools in low-income communities for students that do not have access to a high-quality school;
d) supporting collaborative operational and instructional school partnerships as outlined.
2. Makes conforming changes.
