History

A person desiring to practice any ABTR-regulated profession or occupation must obtain a certificate or registration by applying to ABTR for such certification or registration (A.R.S. §§ 32-121 & 32-123). An engineer is a person who, by reason of special knowledge of the mathematical and physical sciences and the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design acquired by professional education and practical experience, is qualified to practice engineering and is registered as a professional engineer.
