Page 1, line 5, strike "; definition" insert "; definitions"

Line 45, after the period insert "to the extent allowed by law,"

Page 2, line 2, after "and" insert "shall provide utility service to a specific property that is the subject of a"; strike "obligations" insert "obligation"

Line 5, strike "all parties to the contractual obligations" insert "the municipality and the owner of the property"; after the period insert "this subsection does not require the municipality to become a party to any existing contract.  This subsection does not confer on a party to a contractual obligation any private right of action against the municipality, water right or other compensable property interest."

Line 7, strike "notice" insert "written offer and appraisal"

Line 8, after the period insert "a request to provide utility service to a property pursuant to this subsection shall be submitted to the city or town clerk not later than one year after the date of the resolution or ordinance authorizing the acquisition of the public utility."

Line 9, strike "subsection c of"; strike the comma insert ":

1. "contractual obligation" means the obligation to provide utility service only under a will serve or main extension agreement within the certificate of convenience and necessity that is the subject of the condemnation.
