FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1. Allows career and technical education (CTE) students to generate an average daily membership (ADM) for instruction received during any hour of the day.
2. Specifies the limitations on the amount of ADM generated by CTE students for instruction received during any time of the fiscal year.
3. Prohibits career and technical education district (CTED) ADM from being calculated on the one hundredth day of instruction.
4. Calculates a CTED student's ADM by dividing the instructional hours of enrollment by 600 hours, with specified exceptions.
5. Establishes the ADM for a student enrolled in a CTE course or program provided by a community college as 0.25 for every three community college credits for which the student is enrolled in CTE courses.
