amending Title
15, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section
15-701.02; relating to school instruction.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 15, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-701.02, to read:
15-701.02. Instruction on the
Holocaust and other genocides
In adopting the course of study and competency
requirements pursuant to sections 15‑701 and 15‑701.01, the state
board of education shall include a requirement that pupils be taught about the
Holocaust and other genocides at least twice between the seventh and TWELFTH
grades.
