AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1. Requires the Arizona
State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (ASDB) to prescribe and enforce
policies for employees to use electronic communications.
2. Requires, at the
beginning of each school year, members of the ASDB Board of Directors to
receive the policies and procedures.
3. Includes American Sign
Language in the parental resource guide posted on the State Board of
Education's website.
4. Includes in the
definition of school, a school operated by a school district, a charter
school or ASDB.
