AN ACT
amending title 28, chapter 3, article 16, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 28‑950; relating to vehicle safety.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 28, chapter 3, article 16, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 28-950, to read:
28-950. Autonomous vehicles; safety features; override prohibited
A person may not override the safety features of a fully autonomous vehicle or partially autonomous vehicle by doing any of the following:
1. Modifying the vehicle's computer program.
2. Mechanically modifying the vehicle.
3. Placing any physical device, including a weight, on the vehicle's steering wheel.
