AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

Exempts,
if external funding has not yet been received, the construction project
procurement rules adopted by the State Board of Education for school districts
from compliance with statutory prompt payment requirements
·
Requires
the procurement rules adopted by the Arizona Board of Regents to be
substantially equivalent to, rather than comply with, statutory prompt payment
requirements.
·
Makes
technical and conforming changes.
