1.    Prohibits the sponsor of a charter school to contract with a for-profit organization to establish a charter school, starting January 1, 2020.

 

2.    Limits the amount that may be spent on administrative expenses to no more than 10% of total expenditures, if a charter school contracts with a charter management organization.

Page 4, line 19, after the period insert "Beginning January 1, 2020, the sponsor of a charter school may not contract with a for-profit organization for the purpose of establishing a charter school pursuant to this article."

Page 21, between lines 13 and 14, insert:

"KK.  If a charter school contracts with a charter management organization, not more than ten percent of the charter school's total expenditures may be spent on administrative expenses."
