Page 1, line 2, after "education;" insert "state treasurer;"
Line 3, after "districts;" insert "community college districts;"
After line 20, insert:
"E. The sum of $1,500,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2019-2020 to the office of the state treasurer to reimburse affected community college districts for property tax refunds that the affected community college districts were required to make pursuant to the final order in Transwestern Pipeline Company v. Arizona Department of Revenue, et al., (TX2016-000931).
G. If the amount appropriated in subsection E of this section is less than the aggregate amount of the affected community college districts' property tax refunds, the amount appropriated shall be distributed proportionally among the affected community college districts based on the amount each affected community college district was required to refund.
H. If the amount appropriated in subsection E of this section is more than the aggregate amount of the affected community college districts'
property tax refunds, the excess amount shall revert to the state general fund."
