Abstract

Provisions

1.       Requires AHCCCS, UPON CMS APPROVAL, to provide dental care services, up to $1,000 annually, to pregnant women who are at least twenty-one years of age. (Sec. 1)

2.       Appropriates $268,100 from the GF and $619,00 from Federal Medicaid Authority in FY 2019 to AHCCCS to provide dental services to eligible pregnant women. (Sec. 2)

Current Law

A.R.S. § 36-2907 outlines medically necessary services that are required to be provided by AHCCCS contractors.
