Provisions

1.       Appropriates $707,890 from the GF in FY 2019 to ADVS to hire 10 FTE Veteran Benefits Counselors. (Sec. 1)

Current Law

Veteran Benefits Counselors from ADVS provide information, counseling and assistance to veterans, their dependents and survivors in matters of federal and state benefits earned by honorable service in the U.S. Armed Forces (Arizona Department of Veterans' Services).
