AN ACT

 

appropriating monies to the teacher certification fund.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; teacher certification fund; expenses; exemption

A.  The sum of $200,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2018-2019 to the teacher certification fund established by section 15-248.02, Arizona Revised Statutes, for expenses incurred by the department of education in administering teacher certification.

B.  The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
