HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AMENDMENTS TO H.B. 2588

Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert:

"Section 1.  Title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-251.20, to read:

START_STATUTE11-251.20.  Appropriation; essential county services

The sum of $7,650,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in each fiscal year to the department of administration for essential county services.  The department shall distribute the monies equally to each county with a population of five hundred thousand or fewer persons.END_STATUTE"

Amend title to conform

and, as so amended, it do pass
