House Ad Hoc Committee on Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder
PURPOSE: The purpose of the committee is to study the pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder associated with streptococcal infections and pediatric acute neuropsychiatric syndrome and to advise the Department of Health Services on research, diagnosis, treatment and education relating to the disorder and syndrome. Members of the committee shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
MEMBERSHIP:
House Three members of the House of Representatives, not more than two from the same political party, appointed by the Speaker of the House or Representatives.

Up to two members, of whom one may have a designee as directed by the Speaker, who is a representative of a health insurance provider and one who is a representative of a healthcare provider, licensed and practicing in the state, who has expertise in treating persons with Pediatric Neurolmmonologic Syndrome Disorders, including the use of intravenous immunoglobulin, appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
