PURPOSE: To provide private sector leadership in growing and diversifying the economy of this State, creating high quality employment in this State through expansion, attraction and retention of businesses and marketing this State for the purpose of expansion, attraction and retention of businesses.

Notes: (1) Five members shall be appointed by the Governor to terms of office expiring January 21, 2013. On the expiration of the terms of these members, replacement members shall be appointed as follows: (a) three members shall be appointed by the Governor to full terms of office; (b) one member shall be appointed by the President of the Senate to a full term of office; (c) one member shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives to a full term of office. (2) six members shall be appointed by the Governor to terms of office expiring January 20, 2014. On the expiration of the terms of these members, replacement members shall be appointed as follows: (a) four members shall be appointed by the Governor to full terms of office; (b) one member shall be appointed by the President of the Senate to a full term of office; (c) one member shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives to a full term of office. (3) Six members shall be appointed by the Governor to terms of office expiring January 19, 2015. On the expiration of the terms of these members, replacement members shall be appointed as follows; (a) two members shall be appointed by the Governor to full terms of office; (b) two members shall be appointed by the President of the Senate to full terms of office; (c) two members shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives to full terms of office. The Governor shall appoint a Co-Chair of the Board of Directors from among the voting members.
