John Fillmore is an entrepreneur from Apache Junction. He is the owner and founder of the Weather Shacks in Mesa, (a chain of retail stores selling fireplaces and evaporative coolers). He owns a sheet metal shop, a solar energy wholesale distribution center selling solar photovoltaic's to retail stores nationwide. John is a licensed, active real estate broker in both Arizona and Utah.

John was a board member of the Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce, a former Rotarian, a founding member of the new Apache Junction Kiwanis, he also recently sat on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Hearth, Patio, & Barbecue Association and was their government liaison on environmental concerns. He is a Republican, an elected Republican Precinct Committeeman, and elected President of the Superstition Mountain Republican Club in Apache Junction. John was the chairman of the committee for the Gilbert Arizona’s Chamber first leadership academy and served on the Gilbert Economic Development Committee for the town.
