28-2472. Congressional medal of honor license plates

A. The department shall issue at no additional cost not more than three distinctive license plates to the registered owner of a personal motor vehicle who submits proof to the department that the registered owner of the personal motor vehicle is a bona fide congressional medal of honor recipient.

B. Notwithstanding section 28-2003, the department may not collect any registration fee for each original or any renewal of license plate issued pursuant to this section.
