Yá'át'ééh, my name is Arlando S. Teller. My Navajo clans are Naasht'ézhi-Táchii'nii (Zuni clan adopted into Red Streaked-Forehead clan) born for Tó'aheedlíinii (Water Flows Together clan). My maternal grandfathers are Tódich'ii'nii (Bitter Water clan) and my paternal grandfathers are 'Áshiihi (Salt People clan).

I began my career in aviation in 1995 as the first Native American graduate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. After graduation, I was accepted into the City of Mesa – Falcon Field Airport's General Aviation Management Internship program. I continued my career as an airport planner for the City of Phoenix – Aviation Department and later as the Aviation Management Intern for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. These experiences encouraged me to travel the world before moving to the Walnut Creek, California, to work on transportation and multimodal projects as a transportation planner and tribal liaison for the California Department of Transportation. In 2009, I returned home to the Navajo Nation to work as a senior transportation planner for the Navajo Nation Division of Transportation. A year later, I was promoted to program manager for the new Department of Airports Management within the Division of Transportation. I was then promoted to the Deputy Division Director position within the past two years. In my free time I enjoy working on the family farm located within Canyon De Chelly National Park, traveling with family and friends, participating in traditional ceremonies and being with my grandsons, Eli Natannii and Kai Hozho.

Currently I am an Arizona House of Representative-Elect for Legislative District 7. Assigned to the Transportation Committee and Land & Agriculture Committee.
