AN ACT

 

Amending Title 36, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 36‑218; amending title 36, chapter 34, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 36-3416; relating to behavior health services.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 36, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-218, to read:

START_STATUTE36-218.  Contracting requirements; art therapy services

The department may contract for art therapy services, directly or through a contractor, only with an art therapist who holds an active national board certification in art therapy from the art therapy credentials board. END_STATUTE

Sec. 2.  Title 36, chapter 34, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-3416, to read:

START_STATUTE36-3416.  Contracting requirements; art therapy services

The administration may contract for art therapy services, directly or through a contractor, only with an art therapist who holds an active national board certification in art therapy from the art therapy credentials board. END_STATUTE
