AN ACT

 

appropriating monies to the superintendent of PUBLIC instruction.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; superintendent of public instruction; district additional assistance; classroom technology; instructional materials; tutoring support; additional classroom aides

In addition to any other monies appropriated to the superintendent of public instruction for fiscal year 2017‑2018, the sum of $35,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2017‑2018 to the superintendent of public instruction.  This amount is a one-time increase in district additional assistance as prescribed in title 15, chapter 9, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, and shall be used for classroom technology, instructional materials, tutoring support and additional classroom aides.
