AN ACT
amending title 15, chapter 13, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-1650.03; relating to the arizona board of regents.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 15, chapter 13, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-1650.03, to read:
15-1650.03. Financial incentives; highly achieving out‑of‑state students; information
A. Notwithstanding chapter 14, article 1 of this title, the Arizona board of regents shall adopt a policy directing each university under its jurisdiction to offer highly achieving high school students who reside in other states substantial financial incentives that may include financial aid or tuition waivers, based on academic criteria selected or developed by the Arizona board of regents.
B. Each university under the jurisdiction of the Arizona board of regents shall do both of the following:
1. Publish detailed information on its website about the financial incentives available pursuant to subsection A of this section.
2. Include information pursuant to subsection A of this section to prospective students as part of each university's marketing and admissions process for prospective non-resident students.
