Line 23, after the period insert "Before a person takes legal responsibility, including sponsorship or guardianship, for a refugee, The department of economic security shall require the person to submit a full set of fingerprints to the department of economic security for the purpose of obtaining a state and federal criminal records check pursuant to section 41‑1750 and Public Law 92‑544. The department of public safety may exchange this fingerprint data with the federal bureau of investigation and shall submit the results to the department of economic security. If the person has been convicted of an offense under section 13‑3408 or title 13, chapter 13, 23 or 35.1, the person may not take legal responsibility including sponsorship or guardianship, for a refugee."
