amending title 28, chapter 2, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 28-377; relating to the department of transportation.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 28, chapter 2, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 28-377, to read:

START_STATUTE28-377.  National motor vehicle title information system; state and local enforcement

notwithstanding any other law, the department of transportation, the department of public safety and local authorities may enforce the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System, 28 Code of Federal Regulations, chapter i, Part 25, Subpart B in effect on January 1, 2016.END_STATUTE
