Page 5, line 32, strike “one hundred thousand dollars” insert “the maximum coverage amount of the federal deposit insurance corporation”
Line 35, after the period, insert “deposits of less than the maximum coverage amount of the federal deposit insurance corporation are not subject to the requirements of this chapter.”
Page 6, strike lines 19 and 20, insert:
“(b) does not include a charter school, a native american tribe or tribal entity, a federal agency or a housing authority, provided that the housing authority deposits are secured in accordance with regulations or guidelines of the united states department of housing and urban development.
8. ‘public monies’ means monies belonging to or received or held by officers of public debtors in their official capacity.”
