FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

 

The McGuire Floor Amendment creates a new option (through December 31st, 2020) that would allow an area proposed for incorporation that is within an urbanized area to proceed with incorporation if the area has a population over 15,000 and that  population is more than the population of any adjacent city or town and the area has a governing board.
