AN ACT
amending title 12, chapter 5, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 12‑558; relating to civil liability.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 12, chapter 5, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 12-558, to read:
12-558. Limited liability; search and rescue operation personnel
A person who is a member of an organized search and rescue team, unit or organization and who is involved in a search and rescue operation is not liable for an injury to or the death of a person who is the subject of the search and rescue operation unless the person acts with gross negligence.
