AN ACT
Making an appropriation to the department of health services for mental health first aid training.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; department of health services; mental health first aid training
The sum of $250,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2014-2015 to the department of health services for the purpose of providing mental health first aid training for adults, including teachers, athletic coaches, mentors and juvenile justice professionals, who regularly interact with adolescents. The training curriculum shall include identification of unique risk factors and early warning signs of mental health and substance abuse issues in adolescents.
