AN ACT
repealing laws 2013, first special session, chapter 10, section 18; relating to competency restoration costs.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Repeal
Laws 2013, first special session, chapter 10, section 18 is repealed.
Sec. 2. Department of health services; refund of monies
The department of health services shall refund all monies that were paid by a city or county to the department of health services in fiscal year 2013‑2014 for a defendant's inpatient competency restoration treatment pursuant to section 13‑4512, Arizona Revised Statutes.
Sec. 3. Retroactivity
Section 1 of this act is effective retroactively to from and after September 11, 2013.
Sec. 4. Emergency
This act is an emergency measure that is necessary to preserve the public peace, health or safety and is operative immediately as provided by law.
