            The Barto Floor Amendment prohibits the Board from acting on an alleged violation complaint that occurred more than six years before the complaint is received, except that the time limitation does not apply to medical malpractice settlements or judgments.

Page 5, line 9, after the period, insert "the board shall not act on a complaint if the allegation of unprofessional conduct, unethical conduct or any other violation of this chapter occurred more than six years before the complaint is received by the board. the six-year time limitation does not apply to medical malpractice settlements or judgments."
